Head banging! Waking up the neighbors! Bringing down the roof! These are the guys you are talking about the meanest, loudest in Nagaland. Dia Tribe, formed in the year 07’ took over the music scene by surprise with their powerful throat ripping, heart pounding performance. Diatribe is a six member melodic metal band dedicated to promote the causes of peace through their music. Rattle and Hum being their first appearance in the local rock scene, Dia Tribe became the metal Gods of Nagaland overnight. With powerful influence and inspiration from the likes of COB, Lamb of God, Symphony X, Dream Theater, these group of energy packed musicians are the meanest combination of all metal freaks. Tia sang for a well known band in Chennai, Morrison Avenue. United by a common ideology, Diatribe aspires to mature as a band as they try to come to terms with socio-political problems afflicting Nagaland and be a voice that both speaks on behalf and the youth of the state. Diatribe hopes to play a pivotal role in calling Naga musicians to transcend gender and personality and to use their art actively to advocate a social environment that creates hope and opportunity for the future. The band had their remarkable performance during Hornbill Festival the biggest National Rock Contest leaving their permanent mark.
